Note: dose ranges use creatinine clearance, rather than eGFR.
Monitor plasma ethambutol concentration in patients with renal impairment.
Hepatic impairment
No dose adjustment required.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Not known to be harmful. Use if potential benefit outweighs risk.
Additional information
Test visual acuity before treatment and warn patients to report visual changes.
