Renal and hepatic impairment
Renal impairment
No dose adjustment necessary
HD/HDF/High Flux/PD - Dose as in normal renal function. Not dialysed.
Hepatic impairment
Use with caution in hepatic impairment and if the patient is taking potentially hepatotoxic drugs or alcohol
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Discuss with pharmacy. Should not be given to pregnant or breastfeeding women
Additional information
If treatment is continued for longer than 6 months, monitor every 3 months for hepatotoxicity, pigmentation and for systemic lupus erythematosus-discontinue if these develop or if pre-existing systemic lupus erythematosus worsens
