Interpretation of antibiotic sensitivity
Bacterial/fungal culture results will usually be accompanied by a list of antibiotic sensitivities (antibiogram). Interpret as follows:

Use antibiotic at normal dose |
Sensitive at Higher Doses |
Organism is sensitive, but you must use a higher dose of the antibiotic. (See advice below) |
Resistant |
Do not use this antibiotic |
