Vascular Surgery
Includes aortic, carotid and groin surgery, with or without vascular graft placement
Preferred (including for penicillin allergy (non-severe)): cefazolin iv (see dosing table below) + gentamicin 3mg/kg iv

Angiogram, angioplasty, sclerotherapy
No antibiotics required
Varicose Vein Surgery
Only indicated when infection, or ulceration present.
