Deep Vein Thrombosis

If suitable for discharge and ambulatory follow-up:

• Refer to the DVT Clinic
• In EPR, click Communicate
• In the To: section, type Consult DVT and press Enter
• Click Pool
• Select "Consult DVT clinic ED Use Only"
• Double click to select this as the address
• (Right click to add to your address book for next time)
• In the body of the message, type ~R and select ~R-ED_DVT to open up a pro forma
• Complete the proforma and click Send
