Paediatric
Campylobacter enteritis
Usually self-limiting. NO antibiotic treatment usually required. ONLY treat if patient is immunocompromised.
In case of severe infection discuss with paediatric ID/micro.
Preferred
clarithromycin 7.5mg/kg (Max 500mg) iv BD OR po with dosing as table below:
- Give for 5 days.
