SOS- Epidural and Leg Weakness
Remember that the presentation of an epidural haematoma or abscess can be very variable so this should be used as a guide. Sensory disturbances would also increase the level of suspicion. If concerned, discuss with a consultant anaesthetist, although this MUST NOT delay an urgent MRI scan if felt to be strongly indicated.
